MICHAEL L. ARBOUR, AIA, President
Mike joined JHP in 1988 after practicing in Dallas for four years. Through the years he has worked tirelessly to refine the firm's Project Management, Scheduling and Quality Control systems. His overall professional experience includes commercial, retail and multifamily projects which lends perspective to the firm's High-density, Transit Oriented Development, and/or Mixed-use projects.
In recognition of Mike's many successes he was elevated to the position of President in 2003. In that role he oversees the financial management and day-to-day operations of the firm. Although in a business-leadership role, Mike's first love is Design. He remains intimately involved with the design and execution of a variety of the firm's highest-profile -design projects.
In support of the firm's stated goal of creating Whole Communities, Mike has devoted considerable time and talents to the betterment of the profession. He has served as Columns Publication Chair, Communications Commissioner, Vice President/Secretary, Vice President/Treasurer for AIA Dallas Chapter. Largely due to Mike's leadership JHP was named AIA Dallas Firm of the Year and Mike was personally honored as AIA Dallas Young Architect of the Year.

J. MARK WOLF, AIA, Vice President
Mark joined JHP in 1988 with ten years of experience in the practice of Architecture after obtaining a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Auburn University. As a Principal he offers clients experience in the design of commercial, mixed-use, TOD, housing, and hospitality projects with an emphasis on the underlying master plan.
Mark's commitment to the profession and community includes AIA/Dallas President (2008) to multiple roles he has held on behalf of the Texas Society of Architects. Locally, Mark has contributed time and expertise to the City of Dallas through involvement in aspects of Dallas Plan, forward Dallas!, various advisory panels and co-Chair of the former Urban Design Advisory Committee. Community contributions include current Board member of the Trinity Commons Foundation and past president of Save Open Space.
Professionally Mark is a member of the Congress for New Urbanism and represents JHP on the Transit Oriented Development Council at the Urban Land Institute. He is currently sharing professional experience with students at the University of Texas at Arlington School of Architecture in leading a Graduate studio focused on redevelopment and Transit Oriented Development strategies.

RONALD E. HARWICK, AIA, CSI, Vice President and Founding Partner
In 1979 Ron joined forces with Partner Bob James to form James, Harwick+Partners. Under Ron's leadership JHP has developed into a nationally respected Architectural and Planning practice with expertise in urban mixed-use, Transit Oriented Development, high-density infill development, garden, and affordable housing residential projects.
Ron's accolades are many. In 2006, he was honored by Multifamily Executive Magazine as One of the 30 National Power Players in the Multifamily Industry. The firm, under Ron's leadership, has been recognized by Residential Architect Magazine through their Business Leadership Award program, AIA Dallas Firm of the Year, and National AIA IDP Firm of the Year. Due largely to Ron's demand for excellence, the firm has received numerous design awards and national recognition for its multifamily and mixed-use developments.
Recognized for his expertise within the industry Ron has been published in Multifamily Trends and Urban Land Magazines, Residential Architect, and Affordable Housing Finance to name a few. In addition, Ron represents JHP on the Mixed-use Council at the Urban Land Institute, is a member Congress of New Urbanism, a Fellow with the Institute of Urban Design, and a Certified Specifier with the Construction Specifications Institute.

JOHN SCHRADER, AIA, LEED AP, Director of Design
As Director of Design, John is responsible for project programming and the coordination of conceptual and schematic design across the studio. He is a LEED accredited professional, as such is integrally involved the firm's sustainable design research and implementation. His leadership in the studio is not limited to design. John is a team builder, seeking consensus while challenging the firm to perform at the highest possible level. John's demand for excellence-in-design is in large part responsible for the firm's success as indicated by the numerous design awards and national recognition for its multifamily and mixed-use developments.

W. BRIAN KEITH, AIA, AICP, Director of Urban Design and Planning
Brian joined JHP in 2002, bringing almost 20 years of extensive mix-use, urban redevelopment and master planning experience. His professional experience has been centered on urban design and planning creating livable communities and great urban spaces. Brian has been an integral part of the firm's success in transitioning the focus of the JHP from traditional multifamily markets to more intensive planning and urban design projects with particular emphasis on mixed-use higher density urban infill projects.

SHEILA KLEINPETER, AIA, Senior Associate
Sheila joined JHP in 1999 upon graduation from the University of Texas, Arlington with a MArch degree. With nearly a decade of boots-on-the-ground experience, Sheila has blossomed into one of JHP's most qualified and prolific project managers. Known for her commitment to detail and her can-do-attitude Sheila is routinely assigned some of the firm's largest accounts. In recognition of Sheila's contributions, she was promoted to the position of Senior Associate in 2008.

CARL MALCOLM, Associate
In 2004, Carl began his second decade with the JHP. Carl is most appreciated around the office for his unique ability to multi-task. He manages simultaneously many of the firm's higher density, mixed-use, and senior housing projects. In addition to his project management responsibilities, Carl provides quality control and project scheduling oversight of all projects through the design development phase of work. His varied experience, strong design sensibilities, and creative spirit make him a valuable member of the JHP development team.

DAVY PANG, Associate
Davy completed a summer internship with JHP during his architectural studies at OSU and joined the firm in a full-time capacity upon graduation in 1998. Davy is a Renaissance-man in that he is equally qualified at both design and the more technical aspects of the practice of architecture. His experience is deep and encompasses all phases of architectural services from site analysis through construction documentation and construction administration.

HELEN STEWART, Associate
Helen began her career at JHP in 1992, bringing with her more than two decades of experience in office administration and management, after three years she was promoted to Office Manager and in 2000, was named an Associate with the firm. Helen is responsible for Administrative Support Staff, Facilities Management, Human Resources, Benefits Administration, and Legal/Proposal/Agreement Administration.

JONATHAN BROWN AIA, MACM, Associate
Prior to joining JHP in 2001, Jonathan worked on myriad projects in the hospitality, multi-family, and mixed-use urban infill sectors both locally and internationally. As a member of the design team, Jonathan manages the integration of digital design techniques and technologies into JHP's workflow. He, amongst other staff, pioneered the concept of Whole Community Design™ a philosophy founded by JHP.

KIRBY ZENGLER, AIA, Associate
Kirby came to JHP as a diamond in the rough working part time with JHP while completing his MArch degree at the University of Texas at Arlington. Upon graduation in 2002 Kirby joined the firm in a full-time capacity as an Intern Architect. Most recently Kirby impressed the firm's management by successfully completing his Architecture licensure requirements in record time. In addition to his project management assignments, Kirby leads the Whole Community Design™ initiative on behalf of JHP.

MARIO ZAMBRANO, Associate
Mario is a "Heritage" member of JHP, having been with the firm since its inception in 1978. Mario has worked on a myriad of challenging project types including urban mixed-use, senior housing, multifamily, affordable housing, and commercial space planning. In addition, Mario mentors the younger architectural staff in "best practices" for architectural detailing and the effective communication of construction concepts.

MELISSA JOESOEF, Associate
A poster-child for diversity; Melissa grew up in Indonesia and in 1988 moved to El Paso, Texas where she graduated from high school. Melissa went on to earn her BArch degree from UT in 1996 and joined JHP shortly there-after. Melissa's experience encompasses all phases of architectural design services with particular emphasis on programming, planning, and conceptual design. Most recently Melissa has taken on the challenge of over-seeing JHPU an institution forwarding professional growth and development on behalf of JHP staff.
