SWMD is Published in Texas Architect Magazine
JHP's Cityville Southwestern Medical District (SWMD) project has been published in the July/August issue of Texas Architect magazine. The article details the design and ongoing build-out of the JHP designed SWMD master plan.
Formerly a brownfield district, SWMD is being redeveloped into a 24/7 transit oriented mixed-use community. Development is primarily driven by the adjacent construction of the new 820-bed $1.27 billion Parkland Hospital complex and the opening of the Dallas Area Rapid Transit's (DART) Medical Center light rail station opening in late 2010.
