JHP 4th Quarter Events
This time of year at JHP is especially eventful, as we enjoy celebrating the Holidays together. Here are some highlights from our recent festivities:
Retreat – October 2021
On Friday, October 29, JHP headed North to Frisco for our annual staff retreat. It was great to have everyone in the same room for the first time since last year’s retreat! In the morning, Pete DeLisle led us in great discussions on our firm’s future, and on adaptive and innovative personality types.
Across the street from our retreat venue, the Omni Frisco, sits two JHP multifamily projects that we were able to tour Friday afternoon; Bexley Frisco Station and Cadence at Frisco Station. The whole team enjoyed learning more about the project and design features.
Our retreat ended with a fun happy hour with great food, drinks, people, and given the location maybe a little football too…

Pumpkin Carving – October 2021
JHP’s second annual pumpkin carving parking lot party!
Pets were welcome too!
Thanksgiving Lunch – November 2021
Every year since 1979, JHP has celebrated Thanksgiving with a festive lunch together. While our 2020 lunch looked a little different, we were excited to get back to our traditional potluck lunch together this year!
“Fat Days”
“The Fat Days of December” is a JHP tradition celebrating the holidays for the 2 weeks leading up to Christmas. We team up and each group plans special food and/or beverages for each day. Highlights from this year include chicken and waffles, countless happy hours, a Fiesta Day, and several Louisiana Days!
White Elephant Gift Exchange – December 2021
This year we also celebrated with a ‘white elephant gift exchange’, with the main rule being that you had to bring something you already own. No buying! It was a fun way to re-gift some of those lesser used things we all have.
Holiday Party – December 2021
This year’s festivities were held at The Filter Building at White Rock Lake.
