The Central Greens Urban Residential Village development will transform the former Central State Hospital into a new urban neighborhood that will allow residents to live, work, and play all within walking distance. The 150 acre Central Green site is one of the last tracts of mostly open land available for development in central Indianapolis it will be a major catalyst for the revitalization of the city’s Near West Side. The Urban Residential Village is approx. 45 acres in the northern boundary of the Central Green site that will link the surrounding neighborhoods to the main site and open space amenities of Central Greens. Housing is clustered around open space amenities and urban streetscapes.
