Parks at Nexton Place | Summerville, SC

The project is part of a new master planned community in the northern part of Charleston. It is growing to become part of a greater community that includes offices, hotel, single family homes, schools and retail components. The project happened to be located in two separate counties with two different sets of zoning and building code requirements. By using the principle of New Urbanism as the overall design guideline, the site plan was designed to promote connectivity, pedestrian activities and a multiple of uses to the amenities.
