Museum Place Master Plan in Fort Worth, TX | CLIDE Award in Redevelopment
Museum Place, an 11-acre mixed-use development in Fort Worth’s Cultural District, has been recognized with a CLIDE Award for its forward-thinking approach to urban placemaking. The master plan establishes a pedestrian-oriented environment defined by active public plazas, generous open spaces, and wide, tree-lined sidewalks that prioritize walkability and comfort.
Balancing density with accessibility, the development integrates on-street parking and structured parking within each block to support a vibrant mix of uses without compromising the public realm. Designed with long-term adaptability in mind, Museum Place also accommodates future streetcar transit, reinforcing its role as a connected, transit-supportive district. The project exemplifies thoughtful planning that enhances urban life while positioning the area for sustainable growth.
The CLIDE Awards Program was created in 2003 to recognize private and public development programs and projects that exemplify the Principles of Development Excellence. JHP has been the recipient of 11 CLIDE Awards through the years.
