Challenge

As part of The Domain—a multiphase, JHP-designed transformation of the former IBM campuses into a connected urban district—Domain Parkside U needed to advance the area’s shift from isolated corporate land to a walkable, mixed-use neighborhood. The challenge was to add meaningful residential density that complemented earlier phases and reinforced the emerging public-realm network.

Solution

The project strengthens the master plan by framing a new internal street with contemporary residences and active ground-floor uses. Sustainable design, ample glazing, and pedestrian-oriented site planning support a cohesive urban environment. Structured parking replaces former surface lots to preserve continuity.
