Mike joined JHP in 1988 after practicing in Dallas for four years. Through the years he has worked tirelessly to refine the firm's Project Management, Scheduling and Quality Control systems.

Jonathan has experience in a myriad projects in the hospitality, multi-family, and mixed-use urban infill sectors both locally and internationally & focuses on developing the firm's design innovation.
Ronald E. Harwick
AIA, CSI, Principal Emeritus, Founding Partner
In 1979 Ron joined forces with Partner Bob James to form James, Harwick+Partners. Under Ron's leadership JHP has developed into a nationally respected Architectural and Planning practice.
W. Brian Keith
AIA, AICP, LEED AP, Vice President
Brian's professional experience has been centered on urban design and planning creating livable communities and great urban spaces while emphasising mixed-use higher density urban infill projects.
Sheila Kleinpeter
AIA, Principal
Sheila is one of JHP's most qualified and prolific project managers. Known for her commitment to detail and her can-do-attitude Sheila is routinely assigned some of the firm's largest accounts.
Carl Malcolm
AIA, President
Carl manages many of the firm's higher density, mixed-use, and senior housing projects. In addition to his project management responsibilities, Carl provides quality control and project scheduling oversight of all projects through the design development phase of work.
Monica Miranda
AIA, Principal
Monica is an experienced project manager heavily involved with senior housing communities as well as multiple commercial projects such as theaters and shopping centers.
John Schrader
AIA, LEED AP, Vice President
As Director of Design, John is responsible for project programming and the coordination of conceptual and schematic design across the studio
J. Mark Wolf
AIA, Principal Emeritus
Mark joined JHP in 1988 offering clients experience in the design of housing, commercial, mixed-use and TOD environments with an emphasis on the underlying master plan.
Kirby Zengler
AIA, Principal
Kirby manages many of the firm’s High Density, TOD and Mixed-Use projects. In addition to these responsibilities, Kirby assists in project scheduling and helps with continued education for the architecture staff.

Hila Ben-Avraham
AIA, Senior Associate
Born in Belarus, and raised in Israel, Hila has called Texas home for over two decades. In 2003 she joined JHP as an intern and has since become an invaluable Senior Associate. Through close collaboration between designers and construction managers, Hila ensures project consistency in every phase from schematics to construction.
Melissa Joesoef
Senior Associate
Melissa grew up in Indonesia, moved to Texas in the 80s, and joined JHP shortly after earning her BArch degree. Her experience encompasses all phases of architectural design services with particular emphasis on programming, planning, and conceptual design.
Davy Pang
Senior Associate
Davy is equally qualified at both design and project management and he encompasses all phases of architectural services from site analysis through construction documentation and construction administration.
Helen V. Stewart
Senior Associate
Helen grew up in Dallas & has worn many hats during her nearly 3 decades at JHP. A people-person by nature, she plays an integral role in our workplace culture & is responsible for overall direction related to Human Resources, Benefits Admin, Office Management, & Legal/Proposal/Agreement Admin.
Eric Sward
AIA, CSI, Senior Associate
Eric brings a wealth of well-rounded experience in all phases of architectural practice. He has successfully managed a variety of project types throughout his career, but his focus has been on Multifamily, Low Income, and Student Housing - in both the public and private sectors.

JHP Associates

Mary Brown
Mary joined JHP with previous multifamily experience. In addition to her project manager responsibilities, she has taken on the role of a BIM manager allowing her to develop new standards and advance the firm towards BIM software adoption. She is also an active member of the team responsible for the visualization standards at JHP.
Natalie Crawford
Natalie is an architect and project manager at JHP. She enjoys learning about accessibility codes and helping her coworkers with their accessibility questions. Her other passion is affordable housing and enjoys working on projects that help everyone have a home.
Juan Flores
Juan has worked on numerous Multifamily and Mixed-Use projects at every stage of the design process from initial design & development, through construction documentation. His passion for high quality design is the driver for creating unique communities.
Jon Holden
AIA, Associate
Jon has developed into project manager with a focus on Mixed-Use, High Density, and Senior Living communities. He manages projects from inception through construction and is involved in every phase along the design process. He is also an integral part in designing JHP’s project workflow, creating project resources, and training.
Gaby Lollar
AIA, LEED AP, Associate
Gaby has designed and coordinated many senior living and mixed-use projects at JHP. With a background in engineering and architecture, she brings a holistic and collaborative approach to the design process. Gaby has served on a multitude of organizational committees helping to shape the culture of JHP.
Michael Markham
AIA, Associate
Michael is a designer and project coordinator experienced with Multifamily & Senior Living projects at JHP. With interests in technology & software, he has taken on the role of BIM manager and helped develop new office standards. Additionally, he manages a team that researches & finds ways to implement new technology.
Stuart Monte
AIA, Associate
Stuart is a Louisiana transplant, joining JHP in 2015. Since then, he’s worked on numerous Multifamily and Mixed-Use projects at every stage of the design process. His passion for high-quality design is the driver for creating unique and diverse communities for people to call home.
Elena Pariente
AIA, Associate
Early on, Elena participated in architecture related events including multiple volunteer opportunities. She has always been interested in the construction side of projects which lead to JHP’s detail library conversion and continues leading the efforts of detail development which are widely used in our projects.
Nathan Pope
AIA, Associate
Nathan has been involved in many Multifamily and Senior Living projects. He has been instrumental in establishing the use of BIM software in JHP’s workflow and continues to oversee its success as a manager. Nathan also spearheads JHP’s internal learning objectives through our JHP|U initiative.
Sara Raymond
AIA, Associate
Sara is responsible for project design and coordination of High Density, Senior Living, and Mixed-Use projects. Her depth of experience includes all phases of the initial design and development process through construction documentation and CA.
Tiffany Rees
Tiffany originally joined JHP back in 2008 as an accounting assistant. She is currently head of the finance and payroll departments. Tiffany has over 20 years of experience in her respective fields and is currently in the process of continuing her education with a degree in Business Administration.
Kevin Turk
Kevin began his career at JHP in 2013 and has been at the front of many of the firm’s Mixed-Use and multiple-phase projects. While managing projects, Kevin also is engaged in bridging the creative and practical approaches to complex design problems, mentoring his peers, and setting the tone of the JHP culture.
Mario Zambrano
Mario has worked on a myriad of challenging project types including urban Mixed-Use, Senior Housing, Multifamily, Affordable Housing, and Commercial space planning. Additionally, he mentors the younger architectural staff in "best practices".
Zoe Zhou
Zoe’s experience encompasses mostly Planning, Urban Design, and Architectural Conceptual Design. She blends her landscape understanding with an acute architecture sensitivity, leading to a sense of place and landscape in her projects.
