Within the Trinity Village Master Plan, the vision matures as the first residences come to life, signaling the district’s next chapter. In response, JHP thoughtfully reimagined the Hotel Block—embracing greater density and acknowledging that meaningful gathering space is a rare and valued asset within the community. The hotel is conceived not simply as a building, but as an anchor—hosting meetings, celebrations, and shared experiences that give the neighborhood rhythm and identity. Its renewed clarity strengthens the site’s purpose and helps attract the right development partner.

The Hotel Concept is a refresh to JHP’s original Master Plan hotel block.

Challenge

As the transit-oriented district gains residents and momentum, the Hotel Block presents an opportunity to clarify its role within a denser, more active environment. With gathering space emerging as a rare and valuable commodity, the challenge is to imagine how a hotel could anchor the district’s identity—supporting daily life, attracting future investment, and accommodating both intimate and large-scale events within a compact urban footprint.

Solution

JHP re-envisions the block as a flexible, high-performance hospitality hub. The speculative concept layers public space, adaptable meeting venues, and activated ground-level programming that extend into the surrounding streetscape. Architecture and planning are conceived to frame plazas, reinforce transit connectivity, and support a wide range of uses—positioning the hotel as both social catalyst and urban anchor.

Impact

As a forward-looking design study, the Hotel Block establishes a compelling vision for partnership and possibility—shaping identity, strengthening market confidence, and outlining a vibrant, connected future for the district.
