Envision Oak Point

Oak Point is a 730-acre study area located at Plano’s northeastern gateway. It presents a unique mix of opportunities and challenges. These include the opportunity to better shape the future of one of Plano’s largest remaining infill development sites. The Plano City Council recently adopted a new comprehensive plan, Plano Tomorrow, to shape the next phase of Plano’s evolution, guiding future growth, development, and redevelopment in the city. Plano Tomorrow provided for “special area plans to focus development and redevelopment efforts” in the city. The Oak Point Area is the first special area to merit additional study.
