Challenge
Instrata at Legacy West was designed to complete the final H Block within a dense, mixed-use district master planned by Gensler. Located at a primary gateway near Legacy Hall, the project needed to establish a clear residential identity while addressing active retail edges, heavy pedestrian traffic, and high visibility within the district.
Solution
JHP designed a disciplined six-story residential building that reinforces the district framework while distinguishing itself from surrounding retail and entertainment uses. Activated ground-floor edges support walkability, while articulated façades, setbacks, and material transitions above create a calm, private residential character. Curated amenities–including concierge services, resort-style pool spaces, fitness and coworking areas, and pet-focused features–support a lifestyle-driven resident experience, complemented by high-quality interior finishes and generous daylight.
Impact
Instrata completes Legacy West masterplan with a refined residential anchor that clarifies the gateway condition and strengthens the district’s urban continuity. The project balances the energy of its mixed-use setting with a composed, livable environment, reinforcing Legacy West as a cohesive, walkable neighborhood.
