Nearby destinations like Little Five Points and Inman Park are just a short ride away, extending daily life beyond home.
JHP was tasked with shaping a residential building in Atlanta’s Edgewood neighborhood that translates local character into a clear architectural expression. The challenge was to resolve the scale and prominence of a highly visible site while creating housing that supports daily life and feels comfortable within a diverse community of families and young professionals near Little Five Points and Inman Park.
Solution
JHP developed an architecture defined by articulated massing, generous glazing, and a distinct residential rhythm that responds to the surrounding neighborhood. The building is organized to maximize daylight and views, with one-, two-, and three-bedroom residences arranged around efficient cores. Interior layouts emphasize flexibility through open living areas, kitchen islands, and floor-to-ceiling windows that strengthen the connection between private spaces and the street.
Impact
Spoke ATL contributes thoughtfully designed, well-scaled housing that enhances walkability, supports an active street presence, and reinforces Edgewood’s identity as a relaxed, close-in neighborhood with a strong sense of place.
